Carlo Canepa, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and a Space Medicine fellow at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Columbia University and obtained an M.D. from Cornell University. He completed an emergency medicine residency at New York University, where he served as chief resident, an ultrasound fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and a wilderness medicine fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He has worked around the world including Nepal, Saipan, and Alaska.
